I’ve been in public education for 28 years. I spent 3 years as an employee of QCUSD as the Director of College and Career Readiness and CTE. I’ve been a teacher, academic coach, professional development specialist, assistant principal and district director. I have 4 sons, 1 of whom has autism and receives special education. I live in Queen Creek with my fiance and youngest son.
Statement:
I’m running for office to make things better for the students, staff and families in Queen Creek. I believe increasing transparency at the district level will increase the trust of the stakeholders. Or teachers and families deserve scientifically research based curriculum to take our students to a more competitive place academically.
