Biographical Info:

Greg Mengarelli is a long-time resident of Yavapai County and a successful businessman. Greg grew up on small farms and ranches in Kansas before moving to Yavapai County. He learned the value of hard work and self-reliance at a young age. Greg previously served as the Mayor of the City of Prescott (2018-2021) and president and board member of Prescott Unified School District (2015-2018). Greg is a man of faith and a strong believer in the traditional values of family and community. He wants to leave our county better than he found it and preserve Yavapai’s traditional values and small-town way of life He is married and has nine children and three grandchildren. He is a man of faith, an outdoorsman, and active in community organizations.

Statement:

I’m running for Yavapai County Supervisor of District 1 because I love what makes Yavapai County and Prescott unique – our values, our small-town feel and strong communities where Arizonans want to raise a family and can find well-paying jobs. As a long-time resident, I am committed to seeing our unique way of life thrive. We need an experienced problem solver protecting our county’s future. From battles over water, infrastructure, and congestion to expanding fire, police, healthcare, and education options to opposing harmful overdevelopment. Yavapai needs to find solutions through consensus. I have experience building coalitions and finding common ground and common-sense solutions to the challenges our communities. That’s why I’m running for County Supervisor to defend our values of hard work, family, and freedom.
