Biographical Info:

U.S. Air Force veteran with 20 years of service. Following his military career, Marc transitioned into the financial industry, where he now focuses on teaching financial literacy and helping families secure their financial futures. He has been an active member of the HUSD community for the past four years, with two children currently enrolled in HUSD schools and one who has recently graduated. Marc’s military background and experience in financial education provide him with the leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills necessary to serve effectively on the HUSD Governing Board.

Statement:

I am running for the HUSD Governing Board because I am deeply committed to ensuring that every child in our community has access to a high-quality education in a safe and supportive environment. As a parent of three children who have attended HUSD schools, I have seen firsthand the strengths and challenges within our district. My experiences in the U.S. Air Force and the financial industry have equipped me with the skills necessary to advocate for academic excellence and student well-being.

I believe that my background in leadership, strategic planning, and community service uniquely positions me to address the pressing issues facing our schools today. I am passionate about fostering a strong educational foundation that prepares our students for future success, and I am committed to representing the voices of our community in the decision-making process.
