Biographical Info:

Lisa Fink has been a leader in various capacities in the community. Her first opportunity was being appointed by the Senate President to the Arizona Constitutional Commemoration Committee. She served for eight years on the committee with four of those years as chairman. As chairman, her efforts were to promote the teaching of the principles of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in the classroom and the community.
Proper education for her six children led her to work with a group of like-minded educational and business professionals along with other parents to create a charter organization called Choice Academies, Inc. With three top-rated schools serving PreK-12 students, Adams Traditional Beginnings (PreK), Adams Traditional Academy (K-8) and Jefferson Prep (9-12), students receive a back to basics education with time tested and proven curriculum while emphasizing the importance of parental involvement in a child’s education. Currently, she serves as board president and charter signer.
With her role in education, the national effort seeking to push a national curriculum called Common Core gravely concerned her. Soon thereafter, she joined Mommy Lobby AZ. This parent group formed 6 years ago as a result of education decisions made in Arizona which affected their children. The Moms realized elected officials often didn’t see the effects or consequences of their votes at the classroom and school levels. This group formed to give guidance to parents, Arizona elected officials, and candidates for office. Lisa works tirelessly to inform, connect, mobilize, and engage parents, teachers, school leaders and elected officials to work together to improve the educational landscape.
In June 2019, in response to efforts to change the rules on sex education in Arizona, the Protect Arizona Children Coalition (PACC) was formed to expose the harmful effects and prevent the implementation of comprehensive sexuality education and gender ideology along with protecting parental rights. Lisa was asked to become the president of the PACC.
Lisa has her degree from Brigham Young University in Administrative Dietetics and is a registered dietitian. She is married to wonderful man, Larry and together they have six wonderful children with two grandchildren. In her spare time, she loves to run, hike, read and play volleyball.

Statement:

I believe that our state and our nation are at a critical point in their history. I have been active in various positions to promote our Constitutional principles. I believe we have strayed from our foundational Constitutional principles. Therefore, we are seeing very negative results in our state and our nation. I would stand up, fight for and seek to return to those Constitutional principles so that we can have freedom and prosperity for all including future generations.
