Mariano Rodriguez (R)

Candidate Info

Running for: City Council

District:6

Political Affiliation: Republican

Age:54

Why are you running?
I have experienced the challenges as well as the rewards faced by many who have immigrated to the United States and am able to relate to the unique and diverse needs of our community. Bringing a much needed perspective to our City Council; one that represents the traditional values that are so dear to many of us regardless of our backgrounds; Family, hard work, pride, compassion and accountability. As a small business owner who took on a second job to make ends meet and provide for my family, I am no longer willing to remain on the sidelines while our elected city officials continue to use our tax dollars for non-essential services. Increasing our taxes is not a way to solve poor fiscal choices.
